Ranjan Bhattacharya – Advertising Photographer & Author

My Journey from Lens to Lines: Presenting My Debut Book – Behind the Campaign

Read the Book Let’s Collaborate

Author’s Story

For over two decades, I’ve lived and breathed the world of advertising photography in India—chasing stories through my lens, composing brands with light, shadow, and soul. From high-fashion campaigns and celebrity portraits to emotionally charged pre-wedding shoots and minimalist product imagery, my journey has always been about storytelling. Only, the stories weren’t written. Until now.

I’m Ranjan Bhattacharya—photographer, visual storyteller, ad campaign architect, and now, author. My debut book, Behind the Campaign, peeled back the curtain on the unseen chaos and creativity behind commercial shoots. My second book, Beyond the Frame, dives deeper—into the psychology of visual impact and composition, revealing why certain images resonate while others don’t.

Whether you’re a marketer, creator, or fellow visual thinker, these pages are for anyone who believes that images are more than pixels—they’re psychological experiences waiting to be felt.

Welcome to the chapter where the photographer picked up a pen.
