Editorial features, interviews, and stories from my journey behind the camera.

For more than 24 years, I've had the privilege of working with people from different walks of life—brands, entrepreneurs, architects, designers, models, and families—each with a unique story to tell. Every project has challenged me to see the world a little differently, reminding me that the most meaningful photographs are built on trust, emotion, and genuine human connection.

Over the years, my work and experiences have been featured in newspapers, magazines, and digital publications through interviews and editorial stories. This page brings those moments together—not as achievements to showcase, but as milestones that have shaped my journey and continue to inspire my work.

The New Indian Express – Indulge

Published on 20 March 2020

One of my earliest editorial features appeared in The New Indian Express – Indulge, where the publication highlighted my creative approach to fashion photography and introduced my work alongside four emerging Kolkata models. The feature explored my passion for experimenting with concepts, breaking away from conventional studio setups, and creating photographs that feel fresh, expressive, and emotionally engaging.

The interview also reflected on my journey into professional photography, my belief in learning through practical experience, and my commitment to helping every subject look confident and authentic in front of the camera. It was an important milestone that recognised not only my work as a fashion and advertising photographer, but also my creative philosophy of finding beauty in originality rather than following trends.

UP18 News

Published on 8 April 2026

UP18 News featured my perspective on how interior photography influences the way luxury homes are experienced long before a buyer ever steps inside. Rather than treating a space as something to document, the feature explored my belief that every photograph should communicate atmosphere, emotion, and the designer's original vision.

Titled "The Man Who Sells Silence", the article examined my approach to photographing premium residential and commercial interiors with patience, thoughtful composition, and natural light. It also highlighted how carefully crafted imagery can strengthen architecture, interior design, and real estate marketing by helping viewers form an emotional connection with a space before they visit.

The conversation explored my transition from assisting senior photographers to building my own commercial photography brand.

I also shared practical advice for aspiring photographers, discussing the importance of developing technical skills, understanding client expectations, and creating a sustainable career rather than chasing shortcuts. The interview reflects my belief that success comes from continuous learning, discipline, and staying true to your own creative vision.

Hello Entrepreneurs

Published on 13 June 2026

Over the years, I've met countless aspiring models who believed that a successful portfolio is built with expensive styling, heavy retouching, and dramatic concepts. Through this feature published by Hello Entrepreneurs, I shared what modeling agencies actually look for before signing new talent, drawing from more than 24 years of practical experience working with models, advertising agencies, fashion brands, and commercial clients.

Rather than focusing on appearance alone, the article explores why authenticity, versatility, confidence, and professional presentation matter far more than perfection. My goal was to help aspiring models understand how agencies evaluate potential, and how a thoughtfully planned portfolio can open the door to long-term opportunities in the industry.
